„The Candy Crush Project“ awarded with two ADC Bronze Nails

As time goes by many things happened. I won´t trouble you with a detailed autobiographical blog post to sum up the last few months, but I feel it´s to time to share some good news today.

The „stern“-publication of „The Candy Crush Project“ was honored twice at this years German Art Directors Club Award ceremony in the categories „Best Magazine Contribution of the year“ and „Best Editorial Photography of the year“. I am really grateful for this recognition of the publication that equals an accolade for the work, as „stern“ editor-in-chief Christian Krug puts it in the current editorial of the magazine (stern 23/2015). I once again need to thank Director of Photography Andreas Trampe and Nora Gantenbrink, the stern picture desk and art direction for the cooperation and their courage and enthusiasm to publish the story!

The story will be online in the Reportage section of this website within a few days. You can find all of the awarded tear sheets of the publication in my last blog post. All winners are shown online on the ADC website – be prepared to scroll down a bit…… In a couple of days I will disclose the secret of what happened to the nails.
