Back from Lithuania

Last weekend, I followed the invitation of the Lithuanian Press photographers club to Vilnius where „Fashion Victims“ is on display during the 7th annual Press Photo Festival.



3rd Prize for „Fashion Victims“ in Krasnodar, Russia

My project about the grievances in India´s textile industry „Fashion Victims“ was awarded in the PHOTOVISA Festival in Krasnodar with the 3rd prize in the sub-category „SOCIAL CLIMATE. THE CHANGES.“



PhotoVisa 2013 in Krasnodar, Russia (Жертвы моды)

„CLIMATE of CHANGES. Man and His Life. Family. Society. Nature.“ is this year´s topic of the upcoming international photofestival PHOTOVISA in Krasnodar, Russia that will feature „Fashion Victims – Other people´s clothes“ (Жертвы моды – Чужая одежда) as it was selected by the international jury into the contest´s final round. The finalists’ exhibition opens in the framework of the 5th int´l Festival of photography PHOTOVISA on October, 20, 2013. The winner in the category photography/photoseries will be announced at the opening of the exhibition.

Ian Parry Scholarship Exhibition in London

Although I was not the lucky receipient of the Ian Parry Scholarship, some  images from the Story „Fashion Victims“ were selected for the Ian Parry Scholarship exhibition in London.

„Fashion Victims“ at the LUMIX Festival

My story „Fashion victims – Other people´s clothes“ will be exhibited as one of 60 exhibitions at the Lumix Festival for young photojournalism in Hanover, Germany.

The exhibitions will be open to public from Wednesday, 13th of June, till Sunday, 17th of june 2012, in various pavillons on the Expo area. For further information, check the festival´s website (fotofestival-hannover.de). I´m looking forward to see all of you in just a week from now!
